About us

The Budokai Saint-Bruno karate club is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the development and fulfillment of its members through the practice of traditional shotokan-style karate.

A Board of Directors made up of volunteer members ensures that development is in tune with members' needs. Since January 2013, Budokai St-Bruno has been a member of the AKS (Association Karaté Shotokan) headed by Sensei Katsumata. Sensei Katsumata, 8th dan, is a graduate of Tokyo University and the Japan Instructor School. Highly respected by his students, he is a demanding, understanding instructor with outstanding pedagogical skills.

In addition, our members have the opportunity to train with great Japanese masters at camps organized throughout the year, as well as to pass their blue belt grades and above under the watchful eye of renowned instructors.

Budokai Saint-Bruno offers training for the whole family, whether you're a novice or a seasoned practitioner. Come and see us or take advantage of a free training session (first week of each session).
